Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted in the existing STRATO hosting account. Accessing a hosted website may create technically necessary access data, including the IP address, date and time, requested file, amount of data transferred, referrer, browser type, operating system and status code. Such data is normally used to provide a secure and stable website. Article 6(1)(f) GDPR may provide the legal basis.

Contact, transport and vehicle rental

Online forms are currently disabled. The website therefore does not collect or transmit contact, transport or rental enquiries through forms. Email links open your own email application, where you choose the content and whether to send it. If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide to handle your enquiry and, where applicable, prepare or perform a contract. Before forms are enabled, recipients, delivery method, storage, legal basis and retention periods must be defined and this notice updated.

Applications and file uploads

Applications can be emailed directly to bewerbung@braehler-transporte.com. The online application form and website file uploads are currently disabled. Clicking an email link does not send any documents automatically. You choose which application details and attachments to send in your own email application. This notice must be updated before an upload system is enabled.

Language setting, cookies and analytics

The website stores the German or English selection under the key braehler-language in the browser's local storage. The choice made in the cookie notice is stored under the key braehler-cookie-consent-v5. Essential storage remains active. The optional Analytics and Marketing categories are preselected in the settings panel but are enabled only after your explicit confirmation. Google Analytics and marketing services are not currently integrated on this website, so no corresponding data is currently transferred to third parties. Consent can be changed at any time for the future through the cookie settings in the footer.

With your analytics consent, we use our own audience measurement on the website hosting. It records page views, device category, broad source category, scroll depth and contact clicks. A random session identifier is stored in your browser session storage. We do not store IP addresses, names, email addresses or message contents in these analytics. Measurement events are retained for no more than 90 days. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected. Administration and draft previews are excluded. A telephone click does not confirm that a call took place. You can withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings.

External links and content

The company film is not embedded and opens only through an external link to YouTube. Other external pages are likewise opened only after a deliberate click. Only then may the destination provider receive technical information about the request and process data under its own responsibility. This website does not automatically embed maps, social media feeds, external font files or other third-party content.

Recipients, processors and third countries

The website does not transmit form data to external recipients. Where providers process data on behalf of the company, the requirements of Article 28 GDPR must be assessed and implemented contractually. Transfers outside the European Union or European Economic Area may take place only where the legal conditions are met and must be described here with the relevant country, provider and safeguard.

Retention and deletion

Personal data may be retained only for as long as it is required for the relevant purpose or statutory retention duties apply. The website stores no form contents. When the purpose no longer applies and statutory duties have expired, data must be deleted or effectively anonymised.

Your data protection rights

Subject to the statutory conditions, data subjects have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. Processing based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR may be objected to on grounds relating to the individual's particular situation. No decision is made solely by automated means, including profiling. To exercise these rights, contact the controller or the Data Protection Officer.

Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. You may also contact another supervisory authority competent under Article 77 GDPR.
